PitchRoom isn't a chatbot wrapper. The question banks, personas, and scoring are built specifically for high-stakes conversations, not general chat. We actively review real sessions and improve the model's behavior based on what actually happens in practice, not a one-time setup we walked away from.

Can I get a refund?

Once you've started your first session in a purchased pack, or generated a Premium Report, that purchase is non-refundable. If a technical issue on our end causes you to lose a session credit without a completed session, contact us and we'll restore it.

My microphone isn't working, what do I do?

Accepted Answer

This is almost always a device permission setting, not a bug on our end. On iPhone, go to Settings → Safari → Microphone (or your PitchRoom home screen icon's settings if you've saved it) and make sure it's set to Allow, then reload the page. If you opened PitchRoom from a link inside another app (like Messages or Instagram), try opening it directly in Safari instead, in-app browsers often can't get microphone access.

Is my data safe? What happens to my CV and conversations?

We store your session transcripts and scores so you can review past sessions and so we can help if something goes wrong with your credits. Your raw CV file is never saved, only a summary of relevant details you provide is stored. We never sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Do unused sessions expire?

Taster Pack and Prep Pack sessions never expire. Sprint Pass gives you 20 sessions over a 30-day window from purchase, unused sessions in that window don't carry over.

What if the AI misunderstands me or the conversation goes off the rails?

The AI is built to handle natural conversational detours, if it misreads you, just clarify like you would with a real person and it adapts. If a session breaks down due to a technical issue on our end, contact us and we'll restore your credit.
